It is an honor and privilege to get the opportunity to serve as the president of AAPI-MD. Over the years, the organization has become a vibrant forum with a really large number of active members and a strong executive team. The strong participation of our member physicians during the annual meetings, various health fairs and other charitable events really show the strength of the organization.
In the coming years, we plan to increase our involvement into academic and research activities especially since we have an increasing number of colleagues from the academic institutions in the area. We hope to serve as a forum for our trainees and younger physicians to present their exciting ideas and research work. And with our strong and dedicated executive team and extremely talented members, this vision for AAPI-MD will soon be a reality.
